How much is it to hire Hip Fidelity?

Each function has specific requirements and you need to contact James as there are factors to consider like,

1. •the number of members you request to perform in the outfit
   

2. •extra music sets required (other than the standard set out below)
   

3. •stage size
   

4. •lighting & PA system (large functions require extra equipment)
   

5. •travel expenses (when travelling out of Sydney)
   

 

How long do you play for?

3 x 40 min sets or 4 x 30 min sets during a five hour duration is standard.

 

How many performers in your outfit?

We start from a duo and can expand up to 5 pc band. We can add musicians to include guitar, sax, drums & bass, depending on what you require and if it fits your budget.

 

Are the added musician’s members that you play with regularly?

Yes. It takes a lot of rehearsal and live performances to provide a tight, dependable and professional outfit.

 

What equipment do you provide for your performances?

Our own PA can provide sound for up to 200 people and we provide a small basic lighting system. Larger functions need a larger PA and lighting system and these are usually hired in. James can give advice on PA systems and positioning them if required.

 

About Our Performance

 

Can you learn a special song for our function?

Yes if given appropriate time (eg; 1 month minimum) before your function.

We charge an extra fee because of the time involved in programming, learning and rehearsing the song. If this cannot be provided we can play your request on CD.

 

Do you provide background/break music when you are not playing?

Yes we can if you don't have a DJ. We have a wide selection of CD break music.

 

Does your music cater to all age groups?

Absolutely! Our success lies in our dynamic performance, filling the dance floor with all age groups and the variety of age groups our music caters to. There’s something for everyone!

 

Are you loud?

We control the volume and work with you and the venues volume requirements.

 

About Our Performance Needs

 

Do you need food and refreshments at our function? 

Yes. Most times we are required to stay the duration of the function in case of a program change and leaving the venue is not an option. We do require water and soft drinks for refreshments. A hot meal per band member is required if the function is catered for.
